The project brief is to design a spacious villa for a family with a Spanish/Mediterranean influence. This has been infused into the local context with the tropical climate of the region.
This home is designed for entertaining guests. The living and entertainment spaces all open onto a continuous covered verandah facing the garden and the swimming pool. This collonaded verandah acts as a transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces offering ample shade and cover.
The shallow arches give the façade a character typical of the Spanish villas. The flooring and ceiling details also add to the overall ambience, whilst, the custom-made wooden joinery gives it a classical elegance.
